SoporeThe General Council and Executive Committee of Adbi Markaz Kamraz (AMKJK) met on Thursday to appoint its new Secretary during the monthly executive meeting held at Sopore.
During the General Executive meet chaired by President AMK Mir Tariq Rasool a Bandipora based writer and literary activist was unanimously appointed as Secretary of the organisation.
Mir Tariq is of Patron Kashmir Literary and Philosophical Foundation.He was appointed as the Secretary of Adbi Markaz Kamraz Jammu and Kashmir -states only largest literary, linguist and cultural organization.
Mir was appointed as the secretary AMKJK during a General Executive Council meeting held under the chairmanship of Sayed Shujaat Bukhari in presence of General Secretary AMK Muhammad Amin Bhat and othe representatives of executive council.
Mir Tariq is a writer, contributor to various Urdu and English news papers. Mir is secretary literary Forum Bandipora an oldest literary organization founded by Prof Rashid Nazki.
Mir a student of religion and literature and has represented Kashmir in many national and international conferences. Mir writes in Urdu, Kashmiri and English language.
Secretary is a third key post in the AMKJK after the chair of President and General Secretary. As a secretary, Mir has to coordinate with all respective literary units affiliated with the federation of AMK.
