SrinagarAlis Sports Academy emerged as the winner in senior mens category of 5th District Bandipora Rugby Championship that concluded Friday at SK Stadium Bandipora, a statement from the organizers said.
The two-day tournament was organised by Bandipora Rugby Association in collaboration with J&K State Sports Council.
J&K Police got the second spot in the senior mens category. In Junior boys category, AGS Rugby pockted the first position while Nadilhal Young Guns got the second position.
In sub junior boys category, Symbiosis Rugby club got the 1st position and AGS Rugby Club got the 2nd position.

In junior girls category, AGS Rugby Club got the 1st position and Symbiosis Rugby Club got the 2nd position.
In sub junior girls category, Alis Sports Academy got the first position and Nadihal Rugby Club had to contend with the second spot.
As many as 26 teams participated in the event.
SSP Bandipora Sheikh Zulufkar Adaz was the chief guest at the presentation ceremony while manager SK Stadium Bandipora Ab Majid was guest of honour.
