SrinagarNoted journalist Saeed Naqvi released two volume book, Shi’as of Jammu and Kashmir authored by distinguished jurist Justice (Rtd) Hakeem Imtiyaz Hussain, at an impressive function here on Saturday.
Naqvi, who was chief guest on the occasion, emphasised on recording the significant events of past which have shaped our present.
He mesmerised the audience with his powerful rendetion of a number of Mir Anees’s quartrains.
Earlier in his introduction of the monumental book, Justice Imtiyaz Hussain told the jam packed audience at newly built auditorium of the Information Department, that he has made an honest endeavor to make available the missing but significant part of Kashmir history.

Maulana Taqi, emissary of Hujatul Islam Mehdi Mahdavipur, India representative of spiritual leader Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei read out his message which conveyed deep affection of Iranian nation towards Kashmiri people and appreciation for its history.
Prof Shafi Shauq presented a review of the book while many other speakers dwelt in detail about the significant contribution by the author in the shape of this book.
