Srinagar: A resident of Hawal in downtown Srinagar today appealed chief minister Mehbooba Mufti and DGP S P Vaid to provide him justice and ensure that he is not excluded from his proprietary rights.
Rameez Raja, a resident of Kralpora-Hawal said that his four brothers are unnecessarily harassing him and they want him to be deprived of his share in the ancestral property. Son of Late Ghulam Mohammad Allaie, Rameez said that he came under attack from his brothers some days back.
My brothers attacked me with a sword and threatened of dire consequences in case I do not leave the house that belongs to my late father. They said that I have no share whatsoever in the ancestral property. My brothers said that they would ensure that I dont get even a single penny from the ancestral property, said Rameez.
Rameez said that he is a patient and has to take medicines on regular basis. He said that he was out of his house for three years and he returned just few days back. (KNS)
