SRINAGAR: Legal Metrology Unit, Kupwara slapped a fine of Rs. 41,000 on the Book sellers for smudging the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) printed on the text books.
According to Legal Metrology department, all those particularly the parents and students are informed to check the MRP while purchasing Books from Book sellers to curb the overcharging and smudging of the actual price.
