SrinagarSenior Congress leader and former Minister Taj Mohiudin Thursday said that J&K Special Tribunal has set aside a December 2016 order of DFO for eviction of land measuring 26 Kanals in Sedow in Shopian district.
Stating that he stands vindicated, Taj said that the J&K Special Tribunal on 30th May 2017 set aside an order of DFO dated 22nd of December 2016 for eviction of land measuring 26 Kanals.
Commenting on the 15 page judgement of J&K Special Tribunal, Taj Mohiudin said that an appeal was filed before the J&K Special Tribunal, which took cognizance of the matter and issued a comprehensive order.
The Special Tribunal perused the record and found that the Forest Department does not have any relevant record of the demarcation if ever done in 1975″.
This record was produced by the Forest Department which avoided for a long time to appear before the Special Tribunal and submitted the record that mentions they never had the record, he said.
The Special Tribunal has cleared me of false and frivolous charge and I propose to take legation action against then DFO Demarcation Srinagar and DFO Shopian. I may go for the criminal defamation or civil defamation against DFO Demarcation and DFO Shopian who initiated action on the behest of their political boss (Minister concerned) hatched a conspiracy to defame me in public, Taj said.
