BANDIPORA – A literacy conference was organized by Baha-Ud-Din Cultural Forum, Ajas to remember a Sofi Poet Abdul Jabbar Sheikh at Sadarkote Bala of Bandipora district today. Eminent poet and the President of the Forum, Khala Sahib Chaan presided.
On this occasion, Mehfil-e-Mushaira was presented in which eminent poets and others participated.
A musical programme was also held during the Conference which enthralled the audience.
The said Forum also conducted a similar conference last month in remembrance of another Sofi Poet namely Habibullah Sheikh Habib in the same village.
