Your victory is appropriate reply to those who remained engaged in propagating the false conception that NC-Congress coalition was not effective and cohesive at the lower level, he said adding that the wholehearted support of panches and sarpanches to coalition candidates has also nullified their propaganda that panchayat members have fallen apart from coalition partners. Work hard and remain closely associated with each other and with the common people in every area and at all levels he emphasized and said that workers of National Conference and Congress parties have to further strengthen coalition and have to stand like a rock against the propagandist elements.

Your real test will be in 2014, he added and told the workers to show same spirit and determination during the next assembly elections and depict coalition charisma.
Omar Abdullah expressed confidence that victorious coalition candidates would work to the best of their capacity to strengthen panchayat system and ensure its growth and development. I am confident that the winning candidates will devote their fullest attention towards welfare and empowerment of panches and sarpanches in the House and outside, he maintained.
