SRINAGAR: – An eminent Physiotherapist of Jammu and Kashmir and President Indian association of Physiotherapist J&K Chapter Dr Masarat Shafi was felicitated with best Clinician Award at the recently concluded 3rd Tripcon International Physiotherapy conference held at Agartala.
Dr. Masrat, was awarded by Indian association of Physiotherapists Tripura Branch in collaboration with CRC Gowahati Govt of India and Ministry of social welfare peoples republic of Bangladesh held on 23 of April.
The award was given in by deputy speaker Tripura legislative assembly Prabitra Kar in presence of Lok Sabha members Shankar Prasad and Jetendra Choudhry and other dignitaries in recognition of his 15 years of clinical practice and for introduction of latest gadgets and manual therapy in Kashmir.
Apart from state Dr Masarat, has been at forefront at national level for working for professional upliftment of physiotherapists in India
He along with his colleges of IAP JK Chapter have been working tirelessly for professional upliftment and increasing the scope of physiotherapy in government and private sectors so that people can avail the benefits of this emerging branch of treatment and have been holding regular national and international conferences in Srinagar for honing skills of local physiotherapists
