Srinagar: The State Human Rights Commission directed the SMHS Medical Superintendent to do medical examination of the Budgam youth who was used as human shield by the army on polling day on April 9.
SHRC said that the victim, Farooq Ahmad Dar, has suffered injuries during the incident and needs medical examination.
Medical Superintendent SMHS is directed to thoroughly examine the victim and submit the report within a week, the SHRC said.
The complaint was filed by Mohammad Ahsan Untoo, Chairman International Forum for Justice regarding Dar used as human shield by Army in Budgam.
