Srinagar: United Jehad Council (UJC) Saturday said those gunmen who denounced Pakistan and its flag and hailed the terrorist organization Tehreek Taliban Pakistan (TTP) have been identified and they dont belong to any militant outfit.
Pertinently, an armed militant who along with his five to six associates visited the grave of Naseer Ahmed Pandit, a Hizb militant on his first death anniversary in Karimabad Pulwama on Friday asked people not to wave un-Islamic Pakistani flag during their funeral, saying we have to wage Jihad in Pakistan as well for establishment of Islam. The said, gunman, seen in a video clip which has gone viral on social media, also hailed the role of TTP for waging war against what he termed as un-Islamic Pakistan.
Reacting to the development, UJC, an alliance of key militant groups, said that by criticizing Pakistan and hailing TTP indicates that visiting gunmen at the graveyard of Naseer Ahmed Pandit were following a different agenda and their sole objective was to create confusion. Anti-Islamic forces have been exploiting TTP and they are responsible for the murder of thousands of innocent people. On the behest of India and other anti-Islamic forces, TTP is trying is shake the foundations of Pakistan.
As per the statement issued to news agency CNS, the UJC said that the identity of these gunmen has been ascertained and they dont belong to any militant group. We warn them of dire consequences if they didnt stop following the agenda of enemies. The nation is united this time and to create disunity is the agenda of the enemy, the statement reads adding that every Tom, Dick and Harry has no right to touch the subject of Islamic Caliphate.
