Srinagar: The Kashmir University (KU) has postponed all examinations today and extended last date for submission of hard copies of PG entrance examination forms till Saturday.
According to KU Public Relations Officer (PRO ) all KU examinations scheduled to be held today are postponed.
Fresh dates for the deferred examinations shall be notified separately, later, he said.
Further, he said, the last date for submission of hard copies of PG entrance examination forms is extended up to and including Saturday.
Though no reason for postponing of examination was given but the step was taken due to fresh light snowfall and heavy rain in the valley during the past 24 hours.
IUST too postpones examinations
The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) and Degree college Bijbehara in south Kashmir have postponed all examinations due to inclement weather.
A spokesman of the IUST said that examinations, which were scheduled to be held today,have been postponed due to bad weather. New dates will be announced separately, he said.
Meanwhile, Principal Degree college Bijbehara said that all internal examination till Monday have been postponed.
