JAMMU: State Government today announced Government holiday on 9th April 2017, and 12th April 2017 in Srinagar and Anantnag parliamentary constituencies for its employees who are voters in these constituencies to cast their vote during Bye- Elections.
As per the order issued by the General Administration Department on the instructions of Election Commission of India, the polling days of 9th April, 2017, and 12th April 2017 would be granted paid holidays to Government employees, Semi-Government employees and Industrial Workers in the areas falling within the jurisdiction of 2-Srinagar and 3-Anantnag parliamentary constituencies respectively.
