CHADOORA: The father of Zahid Rashid Ganie was hospitalized on Friday after he passed out at his grave during congressional prayers in Chadoora area of central Kashmirs Budgam district.
Zahid and two other civilians were shot dead by armed forces during clashes near the site of a gun battle in Durbugh village of Chadoora on Tuesday.
Amid prayers, Zahids father Abdul Rashid fell unconscious. He was subsequently hospitalised in Chadoora hospital. After treatment, he was brought back to his home, said Muhammad Yaqoob, a local.
Doctors at Chadoora hospital said that two sisters of Zahid have also been complaining of hallucination since the killing of their lone brother.
They (Zahids sisters) were brought here in a disoriented and semi-conscious state and were discharged after the treatment, said Block Medical officer Chadoora Dr Dilair Ahmad Bhat.
