104 Local Youths Joined Militancy In Kashmir Since 2016 Uprising
New Delhi: As many as 104 local youths of Jammu and Kashmir have joined the militancy since 2016 and 65 of them are currently active there, Lok Sabha was informed today.
Minister of State for Home Hansraj Ahir said among the 104 local youths in Jammu and Kashmir who have joined the militancy in 2016-17, 12 were killed by forces, 25 were arrested while two have surrendered.

Kashmir Shuts Against Chadoora Killings
Srinagar: A complete shutdown is being observed across the Kashmir Valley against the civilian klillings in Chadoora in Centrla Kashmir’s Budgam District on Tuesday.
The Shutdown has affected the normal life in the Valley.
Resistance camp has given shutdown call to protest against the civilian killings.

India Won’t Allow Violence To Spread In Kashmir: MoS Home
New Delhi: Alleging that the youth of Kashmir have been provoked by Pakistan’s terrorism, Minister of State (Mos) for Home Hansraj Ahir on Wednesday said India will not allow any violence to spread in the valley.

2 killed in road accident in Baramulla
Baramulla: Two persons were killed in a road accident in Delina area of Baramulla district on Wednesday, reports said.
Reports quoting witnesses said that a driver hit a pedestrian before losing control on his vehicle and crashing it on a roadside in Delina.

Kulgam: Thousands of people on Wednesday offered funeral prayers of slain Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militant Tauseef Ahmad Wagay at his ancestral Kanjikula village of Yaripora in south Kashmirs Kulgam district.

Militants Ransack Policeman’s House In Kulgam
Kulgam: Militants have ransacked a senior police officer’s house in Kulgam district in a third such incident in the last seven days in the Kashmir Valley.
According to police, four militants on Tuesday night ransacked the house of a senior police officer in Khudwani village.

Chadoora Killings: Train Services Suspended
Srinagar: In view of the volatile situation in the Valley post the Chadoora killings, Railway services will remain suspended throughout Kashmir on Wednesday, official sources said.
Three civilians ansd a militant were killed in forces actions in central Kashmir district of Budgam on Tuesday.
