SRINAGAR: National Conference on Tuesday said that it has fielded Agha Syed Mehmood from Kashmir for the upcoming legislative council polls.
Agha Mehmood is younger brother of Agha Syed fazlullah, president of a faction of Anjuman-e-Sharie Shiayan.
Elections for 6 MLC seats for J&K legislative council will be held on 17 April and counting will be held on the same day.
Meanwhile, Congress has fielded Balbir Singh from Jammu.
