NEW DELHI: With regard to shortage of ration and sugar in Jammu and Kashmir, Union Minister for Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, Ram Vilas Paswan, Monday made it clear that they have godowns full of essential commodities even the Ministry has advised all state governments including Jammu Kashmir Government to take three months quota in advance.
The Minister revealed this during a meeting with Kashmiri social activist MM Shujah. With regard to other complaints and delay in issuing ration cards in Jammu and Kashmir, he directed the officials of Union Ministry to take up the matter immediately with J&K Government. The Minister assured every possible support to the government of Jammu and Kashmir.
