Srinagar: Anantnag police recovered an abducted girl and arrested the accused involved in the crime.
Police Station Ashmuqam received a complaint from one person (name withheld) that his daughter was kidnapped by one person namely Bilal Ahmad Dar resident of Halpora Vailoo, Kokernag.
On receiving this information, a report was lodged and investigation was set into motion.
After strenuous efforts, Police recovered the said girl and arrested the accused from Halpora Vailoo Kokernag. After completion of legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her parents.
A case FIR number 10/2017 under section 363/RPC was registered against the accused in Police Station Ashmuqam.
