Srinagar:- Tariq Ahmad Dar, the sole convict in the 2005 Delhi serial bomb blasts case, who was released from Tihar Jail on Wednesday reached home in Srinagar on Friday to a warm welcome.
A large number of his friends, relatives and neighbours had assembled to welcome him at Solina locality of the uptown Srinagar.
Tariq was a medical representative with Johnson & Johnson (J&J) company in Kashmir before he was picked up by Special Cell of the Delhi Police.
Though the court had awarded him 10 years imprisonment, Tariq was set free as he has already served 12 years in jail.
