Srinagar: The aggrieved former revenue minister Syed Basharat Bukhari on early Sunday morning reached Chief Ministers Srinagar residence and held two hour long meeting with her in the backdrop of his resignation that he submitted after the cabinet revamp on February 17.
Sources privy to the development told KNS that the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti held two hour long meeting with Basharat Bukhari in a bid to break the ice as she had already on Saturday evening telephoned Bukhari over the issue.
Bukhari was reportedly aggrieved over the change in his port folio as he was accorded with the Horticulture ministry.
Earlier, on Saturday evening the top ranked PDP leaders including Sartaj Madni, Haq Khan, Rafi Mir and others met Bukhari at his Srinagar residence, persuading him to withdraw resignation and rejoin the Cabinet.
