Srinagar: One person died while three others were injured in different road accidents in the valley, Police said on Saturday
In Kulgam, a Scooter driven by a person Abdul Hamid Bhat resident of Okay, Kulgam turned turtle near Larnoo, resulting in injuries to the rider and a pillion namely Ghulam Mohammad Bhat resident of Okay. Both the injured persons were shifted to District Hospital Kulgam for treatment, wherefrom they were shifted to Srinagar Hospital for further treatment where injured pillion Ghulam Mohammad Bhat succumbed to his injuries. After completion of legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites. Kulgam police has registered a case in this regard.
In Kupwara, a Sumo bearing registration number JK09-4851 hit and injured a pedestrian namely Lateef Ahmad Ganie resident of Khanpeth Sumbal at Payarpora Hyhama. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Kupwara for treatment, wherefrom he was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for further treatment. Kupwara police has registered a case in this regard.
In Awantipora, a Santro car bearing registration number JK03C-4974 driven by Mudasir Ahmad Wani resident of Zewan hit and injured a pedestrian girl namely Nelofar Jan resident of Chandhara at Barsoo. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Pampore for treatment. Awantipora police has registered a case in this regard.
