RAJOURI: District administration Rajouri has implemented Section 144 in Kalakote area of Rajouri on Wednesday after the clashes erupted between right wing BJP and NC party workers there, DC Rajouri said.
According to KNS, violent clashes erupted between BJP and NC workers and many were injured on Tuesday.
The clashes occurred on the issue of creation of new wards there and as Panchayat election is heading, the NC has objected on the creation of new wards.
Many people are injured, including PRO of Abdul Ghani Kohli, who suffered injuries.
Shabir Ahmad Bhat, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, said, this morning, section 144 was implemented in Kalakote area and situation is under control.
SDPO Rajouri Nawaz Chohan said an FIR NO 9/ 2017 U/S 341, 147, 148, 323, 307 has been filed and investigation is going on and situation under control.
