SRINAGAR: Four persons were killed and five others injured after a passenger vehicle met with an accident on Srinagar-Jammu highway in Ramban district on Tuesday, police officials said.
Police control said that a vehicle bearing no JK03D:0989, on way to Jammu fell into a deep gorge and landed on the banks of Bishlari nallah near Digdol 12 kms from Ramban – resulting into on spot death of three passengers.
Station House Officer Pacca Danga (Ramban) Naveen Angral said that five people, including two children and a woman, were injured.
They were rushed to District Hospital Ramban where one of the injured succumbed to his injuries taking the death toll to four. The womans condition remains critical while two minors are responding to the treatment. (KNS)
