Srinagar: Three gamblers were arrested and stake money of rupees 10,600 was recovered from them in Srinagar on Saturday, said a police statement .
“On a tip off, a police party of Police Station Soura raided a gambling site near Ahmad Nagar and arrested three gamblers who were identified as Zahid Nisar Munshi, Danish Ahmad Teli and Mehraj-ud-din residents of Umerhare Buchpora, Sriangar,”said the statement adding that Stake money of rupees ten thousand and six hundred (10,600) was recovered from the gambling spot.
“A Case FIR number 03/15 under section 13 Gambling Act was registered into the matter and investigation was taken up,” it added.
