Jammu: Uproarious scenes against the shortage of power and road connectivity were witnessed in J&K Legislative Assembly during winter session as opposition lawmakers accused the PDP-BJP government of failing to restore power and road connectivity after fresh heavy snowfall crippled Kashmir.
While MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani claimed that 13 houses have been damaged in his constituency, MLA Pahalgam Altaf Kuloo said that 50 houses have suffered damages in his home constituency.
PDF Chairman and MLA Khansahib Hakim Mohammad Yaseen sought immediate directions to the authorities for restoration of services from the floor of the house.
MLA Kulgam Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami while addressing the government said that this was not the time to give assurances but the restoration of the delivery of the services is the concern which should be ensured immediately.
