Srinagar: A meeting of state executive body members of Jammu Kashmir Rehbar -e- Taleem teachers Forum (JKRETTF) was held on Tuesday at Srinagar under the chairmanship of its chairman Farooq Ahmed Tantary in which the executive members including district Presidents of the different districts of the state was present.
According to the statement issued to KNS, during the meeting the chairman of the forum Farooq Tantary lambasted the state government for not releasing the pending salaries of thousands of RET teachers of the state.
Tantary said that first week of January has started but still the pending salaries of five to six months of the teachers are not released yet.
He said that the negative behaviour and fool plying policies of the department and government towards the RET teachers community will not be tolerate at any cost.
Tantray said that the government in past has assured them that their salaries will be released up to first week of January but still there is not seen any progress till now from the government.
He said that it is very unfortunate that present government is still failed to release the pending dues of more than half year.
JKRET forum president said that builders of nation are without salaries from past half of the year and no one is caring of that issue.
The forum criticised the callous attitude of government towards the RET community.
Members during the meeting said that It is very unfortunate that government are forcing them again to come on roads for their pending dues and other related issues of the RET community.
Tantary further said in the meeting that forum are suggesting the government that in the ongoing present state bugged session kindly stream line the SSA salaries once for all and transfer the SSA shear into state head so the teachers can get the salaries on monthly bases in future.
He said that if the SSA pending salaries were not released up to the 10th of January then they will go on state vide protests and also cordon the assembly.
Others who was present in the meeting was State general secretary Z D beigh, provincial president Talib Hussian, state publicity secretary Assadullah Wani, Chief organiser Ab Muteen, Javaid Gul, Sayed Imtiyaz, district Presidents Kupwara Sheikh Parvaiz, Bandipora Khalid Rafiq, Budgam Bashir Ahmed, Shopiyan Farooq Ahmed, Kulgam Intikhab Aalam, district President Srinagar Mushtaq Ahmed, Pulwama Muktiyar Ahmed Gabderbal S Gull and some other executive forum members was also present in the meeting.
