Srinagar: Almost exactly the same copy as the previous one, the resistance leadership spearheading the current agitation triggered by the death of Hizb commander, Burhan Wani on July 8, Friday issued a fresh protest calendar up to Jan 15, 2017. The protests, hence, would spill over to the new year after consuming nearly six months of the current year.
Hurriyat (G) chairman, Syed Ali Geelani, Hurriyat (M) chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and JKLF chief, Muhammad Yasin Malik are leading the protests now in sixth month.
In a press communiqué, the leadership has asked the people to resume their normal activities in the protest-free five days. Fridays and Saturdays have been reserved for protests.
