Srinagar: Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti Monday directed the divisional administration not to let the winter season in the Valley become an impediment in the execution and completion of developmental works. She also impressed upon the PDD authorities to devise mechanism for doing away with unscheduled cuts in power supply during winters.
Chairing an officers meeting here to review the winter arrangements in the Kashmir Valley, the Chief Minister asked the divisional administration to identify the components of developmental works which could be taken up and executed during winter months. She specifically flagged works like dredging and de silting, earth cutting, interior works etc which could be taken up during winter months.
