Srinagar:Congress lawmaker from Devsar constituency of district Kulgam, M Amin Bhat while strongly condemning the killing of Fisheries Department guard Asadullah Kumar, has accused government forces and has demanded a judicial probe into it.
Speaking to local news gathering agency PTK over phone, Bhat said “government forces are directly responsible for the innocent killings by terming them counter insurgency activities.”
He expressed anguish over police remarks and raised questions on the incident. Bhat has asked state government to “probe the killing of Fisheries guard who was brutally killed and his three associates were kept naked on gunpoint.””This is purely a government terrorism led by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and we are not going to tolerate civilian killings in any case. I have talked to the DC and SP of Kulgam and have demanded an immediate probe into the killing of an innocent man”, Bhat said.
