SRINAGAR:Authorities Thursday lifted Curfew across Kashmir, except from south Kashmir’s Anantnag town and the areas under three old city police stations of Nowhatta, MR Gunj and Khanyar, official sources said.
The restrictions under Sec 144 CrPc on the assembly of people however continued to remain in force in the rest of the Valley.
The separatists spearheading the current agitation in the Valley, have issued a fresh protest weekly calendar and extended the shutdown programme till September 29 (Thursday) with various protest march programmes. The Calendar contains relaxation schedule for business activities also.
