SRINAGAR: To inquire about the health of injured a delegation of All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee headed by Jagmohan Singh Raina visited SMHS Hospital on Thursday.
Hundreds of wounded civilians are being treated in SMHS Hospital Srinagar. Most of them have either received bullet or pellet injuries.
APSCC spokesperson told CNS that the delegation that visited hospital not only provided aid to the patients but also recorded their statements about the brutality of armed forces in Kashmir.
It was disheartening to see little children lying the hospital beds withering in pain. Most of the youth have pellet injuries. The Human Rights Commission and other international organizations must take note of these atrocities committed by India in Kashmir, Raina said.
Another Sikh leader Joginder Singh Shan who was also part of the delegation told CNS that most of the youth who have received pellet injuries are on the verge of losing eyesight. Some have already gone blind while doctors are trying to save the eye-sight of affected youth. We appeal to the people of Kashmir to get united against the oppression of India in Kashmir, he said.
