SRINAGAR: Conglomerate of militant organizations, United Jihad Council (UJC), while paying rich tributes to militant commander Burhan Wani and his two associates Parvez Ahmed and Sartaj Ahmed who were killed in a brief gun fight in South Kashmir has said that Burhan Wani not only gave sleepless nights to 8 lakh Indian armed forces and their supporters who also gave a new lease of life Kashmir freedom struggle.
As per a statement issued to news agency CNS, Syed Salahuddin, the UJC chief while addressing a high level meeting said, the separation of Burhan and other militants is really painful.
He, however, added, the death of this militant commander (Burhan) will not have any negative impact on the ongoing Kashmir Freedom Movement.
Burhan defeated the death on several occasions and he showed that a handful of believers of Almighty can break the pride and arrogance of mighty power. Under the banner of Hizbul Mujhadeen, Burhan Wani produced scores of Burhans and every drop of his blood will con¬tinue to produce thousands of Burhans in Kashmir Valley, Salahuddin said.
Expressing solidarity with the bereaved of families of militants including Burhan, the UJC Chief thanked people of Kashmir for showing great support and love for the free¬dom struggle.
We assure people of Kashmir that militants will not retreat till freedom struggle is taken to its logical conclusion, he said and offered special prayers for the departed militants.
Meanwhile, Hizbul Mujahedeen Deputy Chief Saifullah Khalid and Taj Ali Shah also paid rich tributes to Burhan Wani and his two associates
