Srinagar : Chairman Hurriyat (G) Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Mohammad Yasin Malik and Hurriyat Secretary General Shabir Ahmad Shah continue to remain under police detention while as the police yesterday evening once again detained the Tehreek-e-Hurriyat General Secretary Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, Hurriyat Deputy Secretary General Haji Ghulam Nabi Sumji, Hurriyat spokesman Ayaz Akbar, Chief Organizer Altaf Ahmad Shah and Raja Mehraj-ud-din in view of the joint protest program called by the pro-freedom leadership on 3 June, Friday.
While strongly condemning the arrests and restrictions by the government, Chairman Hurriyat (G) Syed Ali Geelani appealed the people to make the Friday joint protest program of the leadership a success program and send a strong message to the PDP-BJP coalition government that Kashmiris will never allow them to succeed in implementation of the RSS agendas in Kashmir and they will face a stiff resistance from the Kashmiri people.
