SRINAGAR: ICSC Orange edged past ICSC Greens in tie-breaker by 5-3 to lift Islamia College Inter-Group Football Tournament played at the Islamia College of Science and Commerce (ICSC) ground on Thursday.
The teams exhibited great skills and hunger throughout the finals with each making sure it didnt give an inch. The stipulated 90 minutes had nothing to choose between the two sides with a score-line of 2-2, prompting a tie-breaker to find the winner. It was Orange team that showed the character to net all five penalties while ICSC Greens could score only thrice.
Latter Prof Khursheed Mahajan gave away the trophies to the winners and runners up teams.
