SRINAGAR: A hattrick from Jibran Ahmad powered SRTC Batamaloo to a thumping 4-0 win over Athwajan Football Club in a lopsided game of Wahab Khar Football Tournament played at Khrew Sports Ground on Thursday.
Jibran scored the first goal two minutes into the game as SRTC dominated the proceedings from the word go. Jibran continued with his goal scoring spree, netting his second in the 25th minute and completed his hattrick five minutes later.
There was no end to Athwajan FCs misery with Ahmad scoring fourth goal of his side as teams went into the half time break with SRTC well and truly in ascendancy.
Second half was sedate though with no goals scored as Athwajan FC tightened their defence to thwart any moves from the opponents.
