SRINAGAR:- Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon, today held a meeting to review demands of New Kashmir Fruit Association Parimpora.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Vice Chairman SDA, Director Horticulture department, Chief Engineer R&B, Commissioner SMC, SSP Srinagar, Chief Town Planner Kashmir and other concerned officers.
The representatives of the Association said the SDA have developed this fruit marketing complex and later on in the year 2009 this fruit marketing complex comprising 324 kanal of land had been transferred from SDA to Department of Horticulture, P&M but the same has not been demarcated.
On the occasion, the Divisional Commissioner listened to the demands of Association members and directed for demarcation of the Fruit Mandi within two weeks. He said that other demands highlighted by the Association members will also be looked on priority basis.
