SRIANAGAR: Speaker Legislative Assembly, Mr. Kavinder Gupta today announced the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) for the upcoming budget session of the Assembly.
The Members of the newly constituted Business Advisory Committee include, Dr Nirmal Singh, Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. A R Veeri, Minister for Public Works & Parliamentary Affairs, Mian Altaf Ahmed, MLA, Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen, MLA, Mr M Y Tarigami, MLA, Mr Vikar Rasool, MLA, Mr Mohammad Yousuf Bhat, MLA and Mr Rajesh Gupta, MLA.
Mr. Rajeev Jasrotia, MLA and Mr. Bashir Ahmed Dar, MLA will be special invitees to BAC.
Meanwhile, the Speaker has convened a meeting of the leaders of various political parties and Chief Whips in the Assembly Secretariat on 23rd May 2016. The Speaker has also convened a meeting of the Press Advisory Committee on the same day to discuss arrangements for hassle free media coverage of the Budget Session.
