Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (M) Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Wednesday cautioned the government over the setting up of Sainik colonies in Kashmir.
Addressing a seminar in Anantnag, Mirwiaz said they have exhibited unity in 2008 agitation and will start a peaceful agitation in case the government does not stop setting up of Sainik Colonies in the state.
Umar while welcoming Pandit Community to return and live in their in their respective areas with peace and dignity said they wont allow them to live in separate colonies.
Mirwaiz reiterated his appeal to people to reach Eidgah, on 21 May to pay tributes to Late Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Farooq and Martyrs of Hawal.
