SRINAGAR : J&K Baseball Association achieved new heights by selection it’s senior player namely Rouf Ahmad Sofi of district Ganderbal in India Team for the upcoming ‘Robur 58’ International Baseball Series, 2016 after participated in 3 days long selection trials at Chandigarh on 6-8 May organised by the Amateur Baseball Federation of India. The said tournament is scheduled to be held at Apeldoorn in Netherlands ( Holland ) in July from 12 to 17 this year. Rouf represented the State for 4 times in Senior National Baseball Championship as captain of the team at different states of the country.
Pertinent to mention over here that the General Secretary of J&K Baseball Association Fida Hussain Fidvi nominated as Head of the Indian delegation during the said tour to the Netherlands by the Amateur Baseball Federation of India.
