SRINAGAR: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Srinagar, Aijaz Ahmad today convened meeting of Principals of various colleges and Higher Secondary Schools regarding smooth conduct of written examinations to be conducted by the Services Selection Board on February 21.
The ADDC asked all the Principals of colleges and schools to assist the SSB to ensure fair and transparent conduct of examinations. He asked the administrators to inspect the venues prior to the exams to make sure that proper illumination and sufficient seating is available to the candidates.
He also asked the officials to video record the written test at regular intervals to ensure the process is carried out in a fair and transparent manner.
The meeting also disused issues regarding orientation courses for the invigilators prior to the exam, uninterrupted power supply during the exams in coordination with the PDD, security arrangements at the examination centre, police escort for lifting of examination material and depositing it at the identified place and additional observers from the district offices were discussed and appropriate directions were issued to the concerned.
The meeting was also attended by ADC Srinagar besides other officials of administration, Police and principals of colleges and schools.
