ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has reiterated that Karachi operation would continue till its logical conclusion.
This he said while chairing a meeting at PM House on Friday. The meeting focused on overall security and economic situation in the country.
PM Nawaz expressed governments resolve saying, War against terror will continue till elimination of last terrorist.
He said, Eliminating the menace of terrorism and ensuring a peaceful Pakistan for our future generations is the top most priority of PML-N government and our successes against terrorism and achieving economic stability have created a new hope in people.
In the meeting, the Premier was briefed over Bacha Khan University, Charsadda attack and the investigations made so far in this regard.
Perpetrators and facilitators of the heinous act of killing innocent children in the place of their studies will be brought to justice´, he reiterated.
Nawaz Sharif went on to say, The ongoing military operation Zarb-e-Azb has broken the backbone of terrorists who have resorted to targeting soft targets out of sheer frustration, but we will not let their evil agenda to succeed.
Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar Minister, Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan, Minister for Information Pervaiz Rashid, Minister for Planning, Development and Reform Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique, Advisor to PM on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, Tariq Fatemi and others attended the meeting.
The meeting appreciated the matchless sacrifices and coordinated efforts of the Law Enforcement Agencies and armed forces in operation Zarb-e-Azb and Karachi operation.
