SRINAGAR: Protests erupted in Saderkoot Bala, Ajas and nearby villages in Bandipora district against the erratic power supply supplied by the Power Development Department.
According to KNS correspondent, agitated residents blocked Bandipora-Srinagar road and disrupted traffic movement.
The protesters raised slogans against PDD and the local administration.
PDD is resorting to unnecessary curtailment of electricity despite we paying bills regularly, locals said., adding the PDD has put the whole area into dark-age by curtailing power supply for long hours daily.
