JAMMU: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Monday exhorted party workers and sympathizers to take message of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to every nook and corner of the State to establish a new system of justice and equality.
According to a statement issued to KNS, addressing series of functions in the outskirts of Jammu city, general secretary of the PDP Ved Mahajan said that it was dream of Mufti Sahib to establish a new system where every individual would get equal opportunities of socio-economic growth and development. We have to work tirelessly to fulfill this dream of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, Mahajan said while addressing these meetings which were organized by Ghar Singh and Balbir Singh.
Mahajan, while recalling contribution of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to uplift neglected and marginalized lot of the society, said that as a Chief Minister, Mufti Sahib had always emphasized on the need of formulating special programmes focusing needy section of the society. He said that throughout his life Mufti Sahib had worked for the growth of needy and deserving lot of the society.
Speaking on the occasions, Yuvraj Vikramaditya Singh, senior leader of PDP and Member Legislative Council (MLC) called upon the party workers to fulfil dream of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to restoring sustainable and lasting peace in this region. Mufti Mohammad Sayeed would be remembered as crusader of peace who throughout his life as cementing force to strengthen internal regional relations within the State, he said and termed Mufti Mohammad Sayeed as statesman who had a comprehensive vision for the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Let us work together to fulfil that vision of Mufti Sahib to make J&K as Island of peace where every individual would get equal opportunities of growth, Singh said and called upon party cadre to take Mufti Sahibs message of peace and brotherhood at grass-root level.
State Secy Jatinder Bhat, Dist President Jammu Rural F C Bhagat, Satpal Charak, Zonl President Marh Vikram Singh Langeh, K K Sharma, Ashok Sharma, Gopal, Surat Singh and others were also present on the occasion. (KNS)
