SRINAGAR: AIP chief and MLA Langate Er Rasheed while reacting to lodging of FIR against him by Police at Pulwama, has reiterated that such dirty tricks will not stop him from fighting for the rights of people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Rasheed accused New Delhi of forcing J&K police to curb the voice and rights of Kashmiris at all levels, as New Delhi and its proxies have very weak arguments to defend its failures and atrocities in J&K.
Interacting with various sections of society at Vodipora Handwara Saturday, AIP statement quoted Rasheed as having said, the state terror and violations of fundamental rights are at peak and has been institutionalised.
In fact Kashmiris have not only rejected the politics of hatredness of Sangh Parivar but have also exposed their proxies. To show their presence, these forces are using every opportunity to abuse Muslims and Kashmiris everywhere. However these fascist forces need to realise that despite losing one lakh lives and suffering at all fronts. Kashmiris have not surrendered their rights before the might and brutality of Indian state and there is no question of succumbing to the state sponsored terror.
Rasheed added that lodging FIR against him is ample proof that the government has failed to fight him on political front and feels uncomfortable with peaceful political activities of AIP. However, like every Kashmiri we will continue our struggle for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue and raising voice human rights violations at all costs will be our priority as usual.
