SRINAGAR: The delay in the result of MBA 4th semester by University of Kashmir is causing problems to the students.
Students of the MBA department said that four month long examination and evaluation process is causing inconvenience to them.
A student of the department said, Many posts are being advertised but I am not able to do that as my fourth semester results are awaited. This is due the delay of our results by the University.
Students said that they arent able to apply anywhere for government jobs as they are asked for degree certificate.
Some of the students said that they want to fly abroad or out of state for jobs but delay in issuance of their certificates is costing them their precious time. I had to join a company abroad on the basis of my MBA degree. But since I dont have my degree in hand I missed the opportunity, an MBA student said, I want our results to be out soon so that without wasting any more time I can earn something to help my family.
Some of the students who have qualified NET exams in June last year are yet ineligible as they dont have PG certificates in hand.
When contacted, UoK Controller of Examination Abdul Salam Bhat said, this is because of the decentralized system.
He said, we have not yet received the evaluation reports from the director of business school, that is why the results are delayed. I will soon take up this matter with the director of business school.
