SRINAGAR: Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) Chairman and president of KTMF Haji Mohammad Yasin Khan has condemned the killing of Parvaiz Ahmed Guroo, who was killed by government forces in Pulwama district on Wednesday.
In a statement to KNS, Khan said it was highly condemnable that the men in uniform continue to fail to uphold human rights as civilians are killed by the trigger friendly forces in cold blood.
The latest victim of this systematic elimination of the Kashmiris has been Parvez Ahmed Guroo who is survived by two sistersone of them handicappedand aged father.
His only fault was that this poor youth was the only bread earner of his family and this he would achieve by extracting sand from rivers, Khan said.
He said in the killing one human, the forces have let an entire family to die by inches.
While the Kashmir police chief says he will probe the failure of his ranks, who will feed this poor family and who will earn for them? This is really shameful, Khan said. Khan appealed the international human rights groups including Amnesty International to look into the systematic elimination of Kashmiri youth. Humanity demands that this cycle of impunity as is enjoyed by forces needs an end if at the people of Kashmir are to be considered humans, Khan said.
He expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul. (KNS)
