SRINAGAR: Stating that a just and long lasting resolution of Kashmir issue was a necessity for having peace and stability of South Asia and ending extremism and radicalism in the region, Hurriyat (M) Saturday said New Delhi and Islamabad needs to resolve all their outstanding issues including Kashmir issue.
Stressing that the initiative of resuming dialogue process taken by the two neighbouring countries was encouraging, Hurriyat (M) urged India and Pakistan leadership to involve real Kashmiri leadership in any type of dialogue on Kashmir for solving the issue as per the wishes and aspirations of the people.
During the people-to-people contact programme of the conglomerate, a delegation of Hurriyat (M) leaders headed by senior Hurriyat leader Mukhtar Ahmad Waza visited Litter, Keller and adjoining areas of south Kashmirs Pulwama districts where they addressed the local Hurriyat workers meetings.
In their addresses, the Hurriyat (M) leaders told the worker meetings that APHC stands for a just and a long lasting resolution of Kashmir and that no nation could be cowed down by using oppressive and suppressive tactics.
Speaking on the occasion, Waza called upon the Huriyat workers and locals to show steadfastness, belongingness and involvement for the ongoing resistance movement and do not rest until the permanent settlement of Kashmir. (KNS)
