Srinagar: While expressing his deep sorrow and grief over the accidental martyrdom of a pro-freedom Nagaam Chadoora youth Mohammad Yaseen Yatoo, Chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference Syed Ali Geelani expressed his condolence with the bereaved family and said that our beloved youths are sacrificing their precious lives for the collective cause of the nation and leave a heavy responsibility on us that we have to carry forward this mission at any cost and in any way.
On the directions of Geelani, a high level Tehreek-e-Hurriyat delegation which include General Secretary Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, senior pro-freedom leaders Peer Saifullah, Raja Mehraj-ud-din, Sayed Imtiyaz Hyder, Mohammad Maqbool Shalla, Mohammad Maqbool Ganai, Nisar Ahmad, Beigh Zahoor and Arshid Ahmad today visited Naagum Chadoora and participated in the funeral prayers in absentia of Shaheed Mohammad Yaseen Yatoo and expressed sympathy with his family. The funeral prayers in Chadoora were led by Sehrai Sahab and on the occasion, while addressing a huge public gathering, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat General Secretary paid rich and glorious tributes to Mohammad yaseen Yatoo and said that he was affiliated with the freedom movement right from his childhood and he had spent 10 long years of his life in different prisons in this regard.
Sehrai said that Yaseen opted for struggle over the happy life. He was recently released from the jail and he could have spent an easy and happy life now on but the freedom sentiments were deep rooted in his blood and he wanted to give a better line to the freedom struggle of Kashmir and he was thinking of revolutionary reformation in this regard. Sehrai sahab in his address said that our brave hearts are indebting us with their huge sacrifices.
He said that these beloved sons of the soil are sacrificing their today for our tomorrow. So we too are duty bound to respect these sacrifices and do not indulge in such things which could harm their mission. We have to show a united and one face in the ongoing freedom struggle and we have to maintain distance from the India and its agents.
Sehrai said that our freedom movement has attained a great height with respect to our sacrifices and it cannot be sold for meager benefits. We have to affirm our resolve that till the presence of a single Indian solider on the soil of Jammu & Kashmir, we will continue our struggle in any way and at any cost. On the occasion Tehreek-e-Hurriyat senior leaders Peer Saifullah and Raja Mehraj-ud-din also paid rich tributes to the Yaseen Yatoo Sahab and expressed sympathy with his family. (CNS)
