Srinagar – Rich tributes were paid to Allah Baksh, former DIG, who expired yesterday, at a condolence meeting, held at Police Headquarters (PHQ) here today. The meeting was chaired by Director General of Police (DGP), Ashok Prasad.
In his condolence, Prasad described former DIG among the officers who led the Jammu and Kashmir Police Organisation towards successes. He said that the late officer during his entire service in the department remained on important positions and the force under his leadership was instrumental in achieving heights. He said that the officer would be remembered for his dedication and hard work.
The Additional Director General of Police (Headquarters), S. P. Vaid described the demise of late officer a great loss for the Organization. He said that all the ranks of the force are equally bereaved at this time. He said that he was personally much impressed by the attitude and able guidance of Allah Baksh during his training. He said that the late officer always guided his subordinates in professional policing which proved very useful in future challenges.
During the meeting, various senior officers also highlighted the role of Bakash in strengthening the Organization in various fields during his long service carrier.
In a separate message from Banglore, the Additional Director General of Police, K. Rajenda Kumar also paid rich tributes to the deceased officers. He said that expertise of the officer was a great inspiration for other officers and subordinates in the Organization.
JK Awami National Conference President Begum Khalida Shah has expressed her deep condolence on the sad demise of Ex DIG Police Allah Baksh. She expressed her heartfelt condolence to the family including Ali Baksh , Taj Mohi-u-din to the departed soul on behalf of her entire family and JKANC. She has prayed for the peace to the departed soul and courage for his family to bear this irreparable loss.
