Pahalgam: Frequent power cuts becoming big cause of worry for the residents of Pahalgam Constituency. The residents of Pahalgam constituency of Anantnag District have been fed up with day by day power cuts and negligence of PDD. While talking to the Kashmir observer, people alleged that our constituency is having a big population which includes sixteen villages such as. Frisalan, Larripora, Mammal, Ganeshbal, Lidroo, Butakot, Aishmuqam, Hapatnad and Salia Nagbal etc. There are many villages in pahalgam constituency which have been totally ignored by PDD Anantnag and receiving poor power supply from past several months due to which they faced immense problems. They said that especially students, were facing lot of problems while preparing for their college exams. “One can just see a glimpse of electricity for a while once in 24 hours,” said a village body member Ab Rasheed. He said that the employees of PDP are totally in slumber and are busy in looting the innocent people with the help of concerned officers. Now the residents have requested the concerned authority to interfere into the matter so that the problem can be solved as soon as possible.
